Facade Grant
Looking to improve the exterior appearance of your downtown property but having trouble finding the money?
The Historic Preservation Commission and Downtown Hendersonville, Inc. have partnered to provide matching facade grants of up to $ 1,000.00 per property in the Downtown Municipal Service District or Main Street Local Historic District. Please see the Facade Grant Brochure for more information or contact the City Planning Department at (828) 697-3088.

Be sure to include sketches, photos, and any other information needed to understand the project. Applications must be signed by the property owner in order to be considered. Also note that applicants whose property is in the Main Street Local Historic District are also required to submit a Certificate of Appropriateness Application.
